1. Service Description

What CopyPasta Does

CopyPasta is a macOS desktop application that:

• Connects to your Gmail account via OAuth2 authentication
• Monitors your Gmail inbox for unread emails containing 2FA verification codes
• Automatically extracts 4-8 digit verification codes using pattern recognition
• Copies detected codes to your macOS clipboard
• Marks processed emails as read to prevent duplicate processing
• Displays notifications when codes are found and copied

What CopyPasta Does NOT Do

• Store, transmit, or share your email content with third parties
• Access emails older than 10 minutes
• Modify, delete, or send emails from your account
• Access Gmail contacts, drafts, or other data beyond inbox messages
• Work with email providers other than Gmail

2. License and Usage Rights

Software License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Install and use CopyPasta on a single Mac computer
• Use the software for personal or business purposes
• Receive software updates and support as provided

License Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Transfer, share, or resell your license to another person or device
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Use the software on multiple computers simultaneously with one license
• Create derivative works or modifications of the software
• Use the software for illegal or unauthorized purposes

3. Account Requirements and Responsibilities

Gmail Account Requirements

• You must have a valid Gmail account to use CopyPasta
• You must grant CopyPasta necessary Gmail API permissions
• You are responsible for maintaining your Gmail account security
• You can revoke CopyPasta's access at any time through your Google Account settings

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information during license activation
• Keep your license key confidential and secure
• Not share your license with others
• Use the software in compliance with applicable laws
• Report any security vulnerabilities or issues promptly

4. Privacy and Data Handling

Data Processing

• All email processing occurs locally on your Mac
• No email content is transmitted to our servers
• Only license validation data is sent to LemonSqueezy for verification

Your Data Rights

• You retain full ownership of your email data
• You can delete all local CopyPasta data by removing the application
• You can revoke Gmail access independently through Google

5. Payment and Refunds

Payment Terms

• CopyPasta requires a one-time license purchase
• Payment is processed securely through LemonSqueezy
• Prices are subject to change with notice
• All sales are final unless otherwise specified

Refund Policy

• Refunds may be provided within 30 days of purchase
• Refund requests must include valid reason (technical issues, incompatibility, etc.)
• Refunds are processed at our discretion
• Contact us via our website for refund requests

6. Software Updates and Support

Updates

• We may provide software updates to improve functionality or security
• Updates may be delivered automatically or require manual installation
• Some updates may require continued license validation
• We reserve the right to discontinue support for older versions

Support

• Support is provided on a best-effort basis
• Support is primarily available via email
• We do not guarantee response times or resolution of all issues

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

Accuracy Disclaimer

• We strive for accurate 2FA code detection but cannot guarantee 100% accuracy
• You should verify codes before use
• False positives or missed codes may occur

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• CopyPasta is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any damages resulting from software use or malfunction
• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license
• We are not responsible for Gmail service outages or changes

8. Termination

Termination by You

• You may stop using CopyPasta at any time
• Uninstall the application to terminate usage
• Revoke Gmail access through your Google Account

Termination by Us

We may terminate your license if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You use the software for illegal purposes
• You share or distribute your license improperly
• Payment disputes or chargebacks occur

9. Third-Party Services

Google Gmail API

• CopyPasta relies on Google's Gmail API service
• Google's own Terms of Service apply to Gmail usage
• Changes to Gmail API may affect CopyPasta functionality
• We are not responsible for Google service changes or outages

LemonSqueezy Payment Processing

• License purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy
• LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service apply to purchases
• Payment disputes should be addressed through LemonSqueezy

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of CopyPasta after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of California.

Compatibility

• CopyPasta is designed exclusively for macOS
• Minimum macOS version requirements may apply
• Internet connection required for Gmail access and license validation
• Administrative privileges may be required for installation

System Permissions

• Network access permissions for Gmail and license validation
• File system access for local data storage
